As this post is to make all stakeholders aware of our arrival in Montreal, so there it is:
arrived at the airport and I almost start to mourn to see the enormity of the city from the landing lights full uniform, like a Christmas tree that has the little lights perfectly placed symmetrically ... as well ... the fact is that we got off the plane a little afraid because we had to go through 2 customs and 2 interviews also for those who did not know we had been charged double the amount of cigarettes and we were allowed to miedito for it. Anyway, it came we told them we were bringing twice as many cigarettes as we stripped us, after the first interview was the most cordial, particularly in English and all very nice, we went to the offices of the Delegation of Quebec, where we were welcomed and some information leaflets, also gave us an appointment date where we could at both of the following procedures.
Then we went to the 2nd office and returned to the state as cigar but custom only laughed and told us there would stop smoking only to see the prices of cigarettes, did not review our things, believed all that we said that we took and we missed ... It is noteworthy that we saw people who interrogated rather thick and also reviewed pe a pa, but fortunately they let us as usual, with a smile and the bone chance! characteristic.
Finally we left the airport and Samuel (our friend) was waiting for us, very nice because even rented a car to pick us up and give a role to Montreal, saw the center which is beautiful, full of gothic churches and colored lights .
The next day it snowed, and apparently we were lucky because it was the last snow, I had never seen snow, not so much as from Mexico reside in one I get the flu, but either way it is amazing to see snow fall and like everything is painted all white. That day we made several important steps, like taking out a bank account and our social security number, they are asking for everything.
Victor A friend called us the next day and went by us, took us to a beautiful place called Mont Blac, where Montreal is all full of snow, there in the winter people go skating ice and skiing, and summer Sundays are playing a tambourine and dancing, everyone was out on the street it was the first sunny day. We met other friends and his wife and daughter, a beautiful baby girl of 7 months.
Well, we went walking around town, yesterday we picked Depas in downtown Montreal, because there is all, there are festivals, are museums and although it is expensive, ultimately saving on transport and elsewhere. I can say that people here are super friendly, they see you take a map and immediately stop to ask if you need help and give you exact directions to get where they want, that's pretty cool because it shows that people will like to help.
One thing is certain, is not the paradise we thought, there homeless, but not as in Mexico, here are rather junky (or drug) that although the government maintains it can not afford and therefore beg in the street. There is also vandalism, graffiti is painted walls and parked bikes completely crushed.
re People are crazy, go screaming, talking to themselves, they talk on the street, very strange, well you see all kinds of cultures, Jews, Latinos, Aryans, Muslims, Orientals, of all colors and flavors .
The place where we live in Laval (house of Samuel) is a bit boring, is far from all, and people are a bit surly, nothing to do with Montreal, also are a little suckers with English, as it bothers them that they speak English ... but that does not happen in Montreal, then everyone speaks either English or French, although we have seen the importance of speaking French on all to work.
Well, broadly speaking this was our adventure, so good, everything has gone without a hitch, and most motivating is that everyone we've met is doing well, is happy, and motivates you, nice to see that people do not suffer from money and they all live well, except his few exceptions.
Ah! climate so much concern to all, walk about 15 oC, and increases in the internal one goes flat shorts, so the time will not suffer until next winter.
Here I include some photos. I love them! VIVA CHANGE, VIVA LA AVENTURA!
In order to check, every church is one of these lol
