DAY 5: DAWN IN VARANASI

Namaste, everyone \\ as followers of the blog, we see that you are enough, say once again that we love to read your reviews and see that you are enjoying the way alguine us that encourages us to continue writing. Tell some impatient but there is light you can not even blog or email, and if we have mobile (but how easy is to speak, hahaha).
sounds the alarm for 5 of the ma, ana, dim light coming through the window, shower, some cookies and go wandering among the labyrinthine streets of Varanasi, avoiding the dogs sleeping on the ground and cows begin to stretch. Slowly the city is coming alive. We reached the ghat where we had stayed with the brother of the brother of the brother of the guy who taught us silk fabrics. As good business there waiting. Next assemble the boat where other boaters were still in a placid sleep; o. Being in the middle of the Ganges to see the sun begins to dawn on the horizon in front of Varanasi. At the edge of the ghat see people about brushing teeth, others taking a dip, others washing clothes, others saying his prayers and doing their rituals in the water, one standing on a rock doing yoga, fishermen in their small boats picking fish that have fallen into their networks, cows drinking the holy water of Ganges (maybe to give better milk, at least more vitamins), you will wonder like the Ganges, as a river as can not have life within the, because with everything thrown into its waters (flowers, ashes, children, cows, perrosy all that your imagination may have )............... There is an explosion of colors with different saris for women and the sun illuminating the scene. We arrived at the ghat that more people are in the water, though in truth most people thought see, our boatman stopped the boat near the shore to see everything on the front line photo photo will come and enjoy the whole spectacle ellosy normal so different for us. After 20 minutes or so to enjoy the boatman to tell you that we will start, I say we leave the ghat which is next to our guest, so we walk less, it's almost 7 am and the sun begins to tighten. The walk of an hour we costs 25 rupees each.

Once we reached the guest house we get to bed to sleep a ratillo. At 9 the lights go out and our fan stops working so we have no choice but to rise.
a continental breakfast consisting of a pancake breakfast of two eggs, cereal with milk, mango juice, two pieces of toast with jam and coffee with milk, which is going to be a breakfast ligerita, hahahaha.
chubby
Our friend the guest do not even look at his face (he loses), the better it so we do not sell anything. We left the main street as everyone always comes to you with a hello (we started to be a cansaditos bit of hello, allo, silk, rick saw), that if we saw a rick, negotiate one for 150 rupees us to see the 4 temples. So avoiding the most amazing traffic every day we reached the first temple which is called TULSI MANAS TEMPLE, here we have to enter one by one as you can not get anything at all (if not the camera), so Beatrice completely bare (or shims are used) and leave me your shoes. Sale 5 minutes saying it is worth it, me barefoot, the Beatrice and leave everything to enter the temple, it is really true is not worth it, covered patio surrounded by marble columns and inscriptions on the walls, a corridor on the first floor and little else, eu so I go out and once back to rick saw shoes and the next temple is Sankat Mochan, this is the temple of the monkeys at the door as 5 cops and tell us we can not get anything, they have a ticket locked timber such as supermarkets (ratty but of course) and there we have to leave the backpack and camera. At first it is like a small park yal soon begin to see monkeys everywhere, it is curious how the monkeys as zoos and the like never removing it ............ about playing other trying to eat something, others lying ..... the temple in question also has nothing, a central area where they make sentences and make bids (donations) and around patios with some shit marmaol and very many (The latter normal everywhere). We stayed a while watching the monkeys and see a monkey that has seized a newborn monkey tits kind of a kangaroo, a very tender, it hurts to stand outside the chamber. To pick out the mochi and mount the camera and saw the rich also see that there are monkeys out so get them some, but the truth is a bit slippery.

We go to the next temple which is called NEW SHIVA TEMPLE This temple is at the university say the University of Varanasi is the most important of India, covers almost 15 square kilometers and each faculty is building great surrounded by a garden large enough, we caught their attention including the power of genetics human. Upon entering the temple as not to remove their shoes, tights not worth the truth is that I do not care, if you are like from here, burn that fucking floor, and marble is that it is, so running up the inside and then ufff ufff about gradually recovered feet (with shoes rather than this one.) Camera will I have to leave but it is forbidden to take pictures, the truth is that although it could be because few of them would do the only thing we noticed was seen as a rite of prayers to Lord Shiva but more so to the so people on the inside. Everyone played some bells that were hung and were not less. Leaving the temple we see in a garden a group of people sitting down and someone says they are doing The bride asked, very curious, because they sit on one side the most important family of man (the groom did not) and on the other hand, the family of the bride and groom dressed in their finery. We set that the bride has a scowl and super sad, I do a couple of photos and her mother tells me not to do more, so I stop and tell us the boy finished the bride does not decide, then the thing is that there are doing exactly what ue is to see the groom's family a dowry that will receive and if they are satisfied go ahead and if not, find another, the couple are known at the time of the ceremony (at night We had a modern Colombian Indians let them know the couple for hours and you decide ue in those two hours if you want to get married or not), so no strange sadness that we had to feel that poor girl seeing her parents decided their future, that is India.
Again we take our friend saw rick and booting realize that we have played, oh oh, let's see what happens now, for nothing, we're going with the flat tire to the next temple, while repair the wheel well, this temple is called DURGA TEMPLE, to reach the door that says forbidden to take pictures, then you understand that we mismatches (start to get the settings and be quiet and it .......), be that once barefoot and jumping like grasshoppers of what the ground is burning and we say (as if to say is that I enterais) not we get for not being hindu, touch your own, and for that we turn to barefoot ............. no comment.
Back we say we want to go to buy postcards and stamps and the good man leads to a very chic library where the books would be fantastic but the cards were back more or less 50 years, plus charge us enough for them. Saw rick man then brings us to the post office to buy stamps. Not to describe the post office is that you can not imagine, I was dark I could see nothing, there were three people sitting in a seventeenth-century furniture and everything done by hand, there was no computer or typewriter. When we ask the stamps had to be repeated like 15 times and patience got the stamps, but with patience ................ do not believe it took us no time. Seals the bag carries a sort of incredibly old firms. We had a really fun time. From here we took the guest house and going to pay as no change had led us back to the main street and there got the changes, I paid and even gave him tips on how well they had behaved.
We went through the main street with a heat maybe about 40 degrees, walking find a restaurant for lunch and there we went to test the Thalis (mashed lentils in curry, vegetables, rice, potatoes Fried, two pancakes and yogurt). The truth was quite rich and could not finish the lentils that stung enough, all this can be put into a metal tray with departments. From here we went walking up the street from the main ghat where market stalls were watching a lot of people, all wanting to sell something ........... the patient must be brought to India by kilos. We arrived at the main ghat and sat down to watch the show every night celebrated with singing, prayers, dances and fire all carried by a master of ceremonies. Something unique but very touristic place to sell you the CD of the music sounds. Before starting the show had a couple of newlyweds on the banks of Ganges imagine doing the relevant offerings. Jorge Portrait all these moments that I had mono and removing the camera.
Back to bed that day was tiring, suffocating, he intended to take something but it was late and we served more than two Cokes. Well
followers of our blog this was our day, for you to stay calm that we keep acting up here and enjoy everything we see.
kisses and hugs as appropriate.
